Reference Projects
The Secretary's Office is migrating this legacy system off the mainframe
into a UNIX based client server architecture. The COBOL based system needs
to be converted into an Oracle database. EuroSoft conducts this project
in cooperation with Synetics.
This legacy system had been in use for over 20 years at the Health Department
to track TB cases in Texas. Our consultant designed all screens and implemented
the entire project in 60% of the allotted time. This provided a significant
financial benefit to the customer in addition to receiving a quality application.
The Texas General Land Office was faced with the task to integrate the
needs and requirements of several groups of IT users: end users, system
administrators, application developers. Our consultant developed a customized
life cycle model which provided a distinct system strategy to integrate
legacy systems, commercial applications and custom applications.
With the introduction of object oriented programming comes the need for
agency wide standards. Our consultant is currently developing a library
of objects which will greatly improve the productivity of all application
programmers at the Texas Department of Health.
TNRCC manages many millions of public funds to clean up oil pollution.
Our consultant developed a contract management system which facilitates
the administration of these contracts and improves the communication between
project managers.
