Position:     CNC Programmer

Location:     Dallas Metro TX


Position Description:
•	Program and maintain computer numeric controlled (CNC) production
        equipment using CATIA software.
•	Analyze drawings, sketches, and design data to determine dimension and
        configuration of cuts.
•	Provide input to manufacturing engineer in selection of cutting tools,
        and determination of machine speeds and feed rates.
•	Check accuracy of cutter path using VERICUT verification software.
•	Observe operation of machine on trial run and revise program to
        eliminate errors and wasted motion.
•	Write instruction lists and cutter lists to guide set-up and operation
        of machine.
•	Generate machine control data by processing tool pathfile using a
        generalized post processor.
•	Confer with machinists, engineers, production management, and possibly
        customers to resolve machining and assembly issues.
•	Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

•	High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; associate (two-year)
        or bachelor (four-year) degree preferred.
•	At least 2,000 hours CATIA V4 or V5 programming experience.
•	Ability to read, understand, and clearly speak the English language.
•	At least three years of experience with five-axis high-speed machining
        programming.
•	Experience with tool design and surfacing.
